Ildong Foodis announced on the 5th that it will officially introduce 'DeepFlow', an AI demand forecasting and inventory optimization solution from Impactive AI, an AI-based forecasting specialist.
The introduction of this solution was promoted as part of a preemptive response strategy to solve the prediction problem of the food industry, which has a short shelf life and rapid changes in consumer trends. The two companies have set a common goal of innovating the entire supply chain of the food industry through digital transformation (DX) and AI internalization in the future.
'Deepflow', developed by Impactive AI, is a SaaS-type demand forecasting solution based on advanced time series forecasting algorithms such as deep learning and advanced transformers. It integrates and analyzes real-time external data (weather, economy, promotions, etc.) and internal ERP data to provide precise forecasts by product, channel, and time.
An official from Ildong Foodis said, “As the food market grows and consumer needs become more segmented, establishing a flexible and precise operating system based on AI prediction is a key task,” adding, “We expect that the introduction of Deepflow will improve not only prediction accuracy but also customer satisfaction.”
