Series Ventures announced on the 5th that it has completed seed investment in Joabro Co., Ltd., a startup that provides life care solutions based on a fitness center platform.
With this investment, Joabro plans to fully advance its fitness community platform, the Joa Jim Series. It will also operate a fitness academy in cooperation with JD WINGS’s “Crosswork Lifelong Education Center” in Changwon Unicity, and will also speed up the opening of new branches.
Currently, Joabro is developing three core business models: fitness center operation, fitness academy, and muscle loss relief food and beverage business. These businesses are interconnected and focus on providing integrated healthcare solutions that are differentiated from existing fitness companies.
In addition, Joabro is focusing on providing a new wellness experience to domestic and international consumers by introducing the 'Beauty' model, which combines K-beauty and K-fitness, through collaboration with Supio and Mderma Lab.
Joabro plans to expand its direct and affiliated branches to major cities across the country and establish a platform-centered operating system to simultaneously secure operational efficiency and expansion speed. Furthermore, it plans to expand its market presence beyond B2C to various areas such as corporate welfare (B2B) and public sports projects (B2G).
