Molecular diagnostics company Jinmatrix announced on the 5th that it was selected as a growth stage support company for the '2025 Global Powerhouse 1000+ Project' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The 'Global Powerhouse 1000+ Project' is a government-led fostering project to discover small and medium-sized enterprises with export capabilities and growth potential, support their entry into overseas markets, and strengthen their global competitiveness. Selected companies can receive various benefits, including priority selection benefits when participating in export support projects, as well as overseas marketing, export guarantees and insurance, and financial support. In particular, they are divided into four stages: 'Promising', 'Growing', 'Strong', and 'Strong+' based on export performance, and Jinmatrix was selected as a company in the 'Growing' stage.
Jinmatrix is expanding overseas exports centered on its high-performance multi-molecular diagnostic product 'NeoPlex™' series. As of the first quarter of 2024, overseas sales are showing visible growth, increasing 87.2% year-on-year, and the company is expanding its market presence centered on the Asian and European markets.
With this selection, Jinmatrix will be automatically selected for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' export voucher project, and will receive preferential treatment when participating in export support programs from various governments and related organizations. In addition, it will receive financial benefits such as expanded export guarantee and insurance limits, discounts on guarantee fees, and preferential rates on commercial bank loans and foreign exchange fees.
Kim Soo-ok, CEO of Jinmatrix, said, “We plan to further expand our position in the global market based on our molecular diagnostic technology and product competitiveness,” and “We expect that this support project will provide momentum for not only export expansion but also expansion of global partnerships and market diversification.”
