Witz announced that it will unveil a wired/wireless hybrid charger for electric vehicles at 'EV Trend Korea 2025' to be held from June 3rd to 5th.
'EV Trend Korea' is a specialized exhibition representing the domestic electric vehicle industry, and Witz will participate as a technology cooperation partner of KG Mobility and will present a hybrid charging solution that enables wired and wireless charging along with KG Mobility's main vehicles.
The charger being introduced this time supports both charging methods in one device, unlike the existing ones where wired and wireless methods were separated. This allows users to select a charging method according to their parking environment or user preference, and it also minimizes the installation space, which will contribute to building an efficient charging infrastructure in line with the expansion of electric vehicle distribution, the company explained.
A Witz official said, “We have developed a wired/wireless hybrid charger by adding the latest technology to the existing wireless charging solution,” and “This exhibition is very meaningful in that it allows us to present the direction of the next-generation charging infrastructure and directly introduce the charging method of our products.”
