The Busan Tourism Venture Association announced on the 4th that it visited the headquarters of the Busan-area food company Goraesa Eomuk on May 29th and held a factory tour and collaboration meeting. This event was organized with the purpose of discovering collaboration models between tourism venture companies and local manufacturers and strengthening the actual competitiveness of the tourism industry.
The meeting was held for about two hours from 2 to 4 p.m. on the same day, and was attended by seven member companies, including Park Sang-yong, CEO of C& Co., Ltd., the chairman of the Busan-Ulsan Tourism Venture Association. Each company shared its main business contents and discussed cooperation possibilities in various fields such as marketing, public relations, brand linkage, and system development.
In particular, after directly observing the production process of whale meat cake, the discussion session was held to discuss topics for practical collaboration and specific implementation plans such as joint marketing and tourism content planning. The council plans to use this meeting as an opportunity to strengthen its network with regional representative manufacturing companies and to seek new business opportunities that combine tourism and manufacturing.
Park Sang-yong, chairman of the council, said, “The convergence of tourism and manufacturing is an important strategy that can inject new vitality into local industries,” and added, “The council will continue to cooperate with promising local companies to contribute to innovation in the tourism industry and revitalization of the local economy.”
