Exotech Holds 'Supply Chain Evolution Tech Seminar'

Exotec announced that it will hold a 'Supply Chain Evolution Tech Seminar' to commemorate the official opening of its demo center located in Paju, Gyeonggi-do on June 17. This event will be co-hosted with La French Tech Seoul, a startup incubation organization under the French government.

Exotech is a global logistics automation robot company that was founded in 2015 and raised $335 million in a Series D investment round in January 2022, valuing the company at $2 billion, making it the first unicorn company in the French industrial sector.

This seminar will showcase Exotech's next-generation Skypod system, and you will be able to directly see the core technologies and actual application cases of the system that have been verified by major global companies. In particular, customized solutions that reflect the limited warehouse space and fire code regulations, which are characteristics of the Korean logistics environment, will also be introduced.

Exotech plans to present a plan to utilize logistics centers as a core asset for enhancing competitiveness rather than a simple cost element through this event. It is expected to attract the attention of domestic mid-sized companies by discussing a step-by-step introduction strategy based on a modular structure and a plan to realize early return on investment (ROI).

The Skypod system has been introduced to global companies in various industries, including Carrefour, GEODIS, Renault Group, and Uniqlo, and has realized high-density storage, processing hundreds to thousands of orders per hour, work automation, and improved ergonomic working environments. In particular, the Carrefour Rheims logistics center has proven micro-fulfillment efficiency by processing more than 600,000 SKUs (stock keeping units) in a space of 619㎡, and the Uniqlo logistics center case in Japan is evaluated as a representative case showing the scalability and reliability of the Skypod system in the Asian and European markets.

The seminar will be attended by Sonia Chaieb, CEO of the French Chamber of Commerce in Korea, and Ryu Tatewaki, CEO of Exotech Asia Pacific, and Eunjung Yoo, COO of L’Oréal Korea, who will present on the supply chain revolution. In addition, Kyungjun Lee, Director of Planning and Business Division at the Korea Robot Industry Association, will introduce the domestic and international robot-based smart logistics market outlook and innovative cases, and Ji-seok Oh, Vice President of Exotech Korea, will demonstrate Exotech solutions and the next-generation Skypod.

This seminar is designed to be a place where industry experts and corporate customers can discuss the possibility and strategies of applying automation technology in the Korean market and explore ways to innovate the supply chain through logistics automation. Seminar attendance applications can be made on the Exotech official website.
