Taesung , a company specializing in printed circuit board (PCB) equipment, announced on the 4th that it will participate in the 'JPCA Show 2025' held in Tokyo, Japan from June 4th to 6th.
The JPCA Show is Japan's largest printed circuit board (PCB) and electronic manufacturing equipment exhibition, and is an international event attended by major Asian companies engaged in the semiconductor, display, and electronic packaging industries.
At this exhibition, Taesung will focus on introducing not only existing PCB manufacturing equipment but also equipment related to glass substrates, which are attracting attention as next-generation semiconductor packaging materials. The main exhibit items are glass cleaning equipment and glass etching machines, which are core process equipment required for the development of high-spec semiconductor packages. The company plans to strengthen its marketing activities targeting FCBGA (Flip Chip Ball Grid Array) and AI/HPC (High-Performance Computing) companies in Japan.
Taesung has already supplied the equipment to domestic glass substrate specialists and is currently participating in the ongoing domestic glass substrate development project. In addition, it is receiving positive evaluations from major glass substrate manufacturers in China and Taiwan in terms of technology and equipment stability.
The company's strategy is to use this exhibition as a bridgehead for entering the Japanese market and to explore collaboration possibilities with Japanese glass substrate manufacturers and FCBGA-related companies. It will focus on introducing a product line centered on high value-added equipment, and will also exhibit composite copper foil-related equipment to conduct consultations with Japanese film manufacturers.
A Taesung official said, “Glass substrates are key materials for high-performance semiconductors and high-density packaging technology, and the schedule for mass production in the global market is being brought forward,” and “Through this exhibition, we will fully launch our attack on the Japanese market and further strengthen our global competitiveness.”
