
Brownie, a startup specializing in unmanned store management, and Lounge X, a robot cafe brand, signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) on June 4 and will begin mutual cooperation to advance the operation of unmanned robot stores.
Through this agreement, Brownie will be in charge of the overall store operations of Lounge X24, an unmanned robot cafe operated by Lounge X. Based on its store management experience accumulated over 35,000 times to date, Brownie plans to support stable operations such as maintaining cleanliness, logistics management, and equipment inspection even in an unmanned environment.
Through this collaboration, both parties plan to build a hybrid operating model that simultaneously increases the efficiency and stability of unmanned stores. With the addition of Brownie’s store management system to LoungeX’s robot operating technology, it is expected that not only will consistent quality in coffee production be maintained, but overall automation of store operations will also be realized.
In addition, the two companies plan to cooperate in the future development of unmanned store-related technologies. By combining Brownie’s unmanned startup consulting capabilities and LoungeX’s robot-based unmanned solution, they plan to present a new unmanned store model that simultaneously considers store operating cost reduction and scalability.
A Brownie official said, “We will present a new standard for unmanned stores through a store management system optimized for robot cafe operation.” Lounge X said, “Through this collaboration, we expect to be able to strengthen the operational stability and service expandability of unmanned cafes together.”
