Solarize announced that it has launched a joint solar power generator fault diagnosis and grid stabilization demonstration project with SK Innovation E&S.
This project focuses on applying and verifying a highly reliable power conversion and real-time control system in the field by integrating solar string inverters, universal bidirectional RTUs (Remote Terminal Units), and monitoring and control platforms.
SK Innovation E&S is a key affiliate leading the energy transition strategy within the SK Group, and possesses the highest level of expertise and operational experience in the field of distributed power infrastructure and smart energy platform construction. This collaboration is a case where Solarize’s technological prowess and system stability have been verified through actual projects of large corporations, and is expected to have a positive impact on expanding domestic and international markets.
Through this demonstration, Solarize is implementing fault diagnosis based on IV scanning, real-time output control, and grid reverse power transmission prevention function (Zero Energy Export) for private solar power facilities, and the RTU has secured interoperability with various inverters and measuring equipment based on open protocols. In addition, it is also conducting an integrated demonstration with the protection and measurement system operated by SK to increase the possibility of field application.
A Solarize official said, “This demonstration is an important step that simultaneously verifies product technology and operability,” and added, “Based on the KS certification and demonstration results, we will establish ourselves as a competitive technology partner not only in the public and private markets, but also in the next-generation power market based on distributed power sources.”
