The Korea Artificial Intelligence and Software Industry Association (KOSA, Chairman Cho Jun-hee) announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting AI companies to participate in the 'APEC 2025 KOREA Global Digital and AI Forum and Corporate Exhibition', an official side event of the 'APEC Digital and AI Ministerial Meeting'. The event will be held at the Sheraton Grand Incheon on Tuesday, August 5th.
The event, which will be chaired by the Republic of Korea in 2025, will discuss digital transformation, responsible use of artificial intelligence, and global cooperation, and will be attended by key figures from governments and industries from 21 APEC member countries. KOSA is recruiting participating companies through its AI industry representative organization, the 'Super-Large AI Promotion Council', as an opportunity to showcase the technological prowess of Korean AI companies to the international community.
The exhibition will be held in the Sheraton Grand Ballroom Lobby and Lotus Hall (1·2), and 10 companies will be selected to operate in the form of 1 booth per company. Applications for participation will be accepted until Thursday, June 19, and the final participating companies will be selected in early July after a review by experts from the Ministry of Science and ICT.
A KOSA official said, “The APEC forum provides a point of contact with key figures involved in establishing digital and AI policies in major countries around the world,” and “It will be a good opportunity for excellent technologies and services possessed by domestic companies to be introduced on the global stage.”
