Weplo participates in 'AUVSI Xponential 2025'

Future mobility solution company Whiplo participated in the North American drone exhibition 'AUVSI Xponential 2025' held in Houston, USA from May 19th to 22nd. At this event, Whiplo unveiled its drone automatic quality inspection solution 'verti-Pit QC', drawing attention from industry insiders at home and abroad.

Wiplo, which participated through the joint pavilion of the Korea Institute of Aviation Safety Technology (KIAST), demonstrated a real-time failure simulation applicable to the drone manufacturing stage. This solution is evaluated as a technology that can simultaneously improve inspection efficiency and accuracy by automatically checking the status of drones in a non-contact manner.

During the exhibition, Wiplo confirmed the high demand for automated quality inspection technology through consultations with global companies that produce or operate thousands of drones annually. In particular, discussions on product introduction were held specifically through individual meetings with key industry leaders such as ACSL, Japan’s largest drone manufacturer, Consolidated Edison Company, a large U.S. utility company, and Chevron Corporation, a global energy company.

The technical difference of the non-contact method has attracted great interest from overseas participants, and discussions on the possibility of PoC (proof of concept) and technology integration have also progressed on site.

Based on the partnership opportunities secured through participation in this exhibition, Whiplo plans to expand its global market and enhance its products in earnest. The company plans to reflect customer feedback collected on-site in product improvement and enhance its competitiveness through the development of customized functions for various industries.

Seok Min-jin, Chief Business Officer of Whiplo, said, “Through this exhibition, we were able to confirm our technological prowess and marketability within the global drone industry,” and added, “We will continue our efforts to connect the secured collaboration opportunities to tangible results and spread our non-contact automatic inspection technology as an industry standard.”
