SGA Solutions' 'CIGIS' Acquires GS Certification Grade 1

SGA Solutions , an integrated IT security specialist, announced on the 30th that its cloud native container platform security solution 'cAegis' has received the GS certification (Good Software Certification) Grade 1 from the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA).

GS certification is a national certification system implemented to verify the functionality and reliability of domestic software. It is given to products that have a certain level of quality or higher after undergoing strict testing and evaluation on nine items including functional suitability, performance efficiency, and compatibility. In particular, it is considered an essential certification for software delivery to public institutions.

SGA Solutions' 'cAegis' is a cloud native security solution with key functions such as container image verification, platform access control, and runtime protection. It applies 'Secure OS' technology based on a security kernel, enabling real-time protection against various threats that may occur in a container environment, and provides a security system suitable for a cloud-based application operating environment.

With this certification, SGA Solutions has strengthened its foundation for entering the public cloud security market and plans to actively pursue market expansion into the financial and private sectors in the future.

Choi Young-cheol, CEO of SGA Solutions, said, “cAegis’s acquisition of the GS certification level 1 is the result of objective recognition of the product’s technological prowess and stability,” and added, “We will support the establishment of a safe cloud environment in various industries, including public institutions.”
