Wort Intelligence announced on the 30th that it was finally selected for the '2025 Baby Unicorn Development Project' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The 'Baby Unicorn Development Project' is a representative scale-up program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups that discovers promising startups with a corporate value of 30 billion won or more and supports their growth into global unicorn companies. A total of 217 companies applied this year, and 50 of them were finally selected.
Wort Intelligence provides advanced search and strategy analysis services using AI technology based on technical data such as patents. Its representative service, ‘KeyWort’, refines, summarizes, and analyzes global patent data using AI to support companies’ understanding of technology trends, competitor analysis, and strategy formulation, while ‘IP Data Intelligence’ is an integrated analysis solution that can be used to formulate business strategies based on such data.
The company recently introduced a generative AI-based summary function, 'AI Summary Copilot', to increase information accessibility and usability, and is also expanding its export base, focusing on Asian markets such as Japan and Taiwan.
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups highly evaluated the following as the background for this selection: ▲own technological prowess in AI and data analysis algorithms ▲technology base capable of quickly processing large amounts of global patent data ▲overseas export performance in the domestic IP industry.
CEO Yoon Jeong-ho said, “This selection as Baby Unicorn is the result of recognition of both our AI technology and business potential in the specialized field of technical data,” and added, “We will present a standard for AI solutions based on intellectual property that can be utilized in domestic and international markets and accelerate global expansion.”
