INTERX has been selected for the '2025 Korea AI 50' hosted by Forbes Korea. With this, INTERX has once again been recognized for its technological prowess and growth potential in the manufacturing AI and autonomous manufacturing fields.
'Korea AI 50' is a program to discover promising companies leading the domestic artificial intelligence industry. This year, a total of 924 companies were nominated and 50 companies were finally selected. The selection criteria were based on various evaluation items such as technological innovation, industrial applicability, marketability, and growth potential.
InterX is a specialized company that supports AI Transformation of manufacturing companies. It is introducing the concept of 'Software Defined Factory (SDF)' in Korea and aims to implement a smart factory with autonomous operation level (Level 4.0). It is characterized by going beyond simple automation and allowing AI to autonomously perform decision-making and overall operation of the manufacturing site.
In addition to traditional manufacturing performance indicators such as productivity, quality, cost, and delivery (PQCD), the solution supports operational optimization by analyzing various composite KPIs in real time, such as improving quality prediction accuracy, optimizing energy efficiency, monitoring carbon emissions, and enhancing industrial safety.
To achieve this, the company is advancing three core technology areas: AI-based decision-making solutions, manufacturing-specific generative AI, and a digital supply chain platform. In particular, its representative solutions, Recipe.AI, Quality.AI, and Safety.AI, utilize unsupervised (self-learning)-based technologies that can learn even with a small amount of data, providing rapid deployment and high operational efficiency.
In addition, the 'Agentic AI' structure, in which multiple AI agents within the factory organically cooperate and perform autonomous judgment and tasks, has also been commercialized. This is evaluated as an autonomous manufacturing technology that goes beyond existing single-function-centered AI solutions.
InterX has verified the effectiveness and marketability of the technology by carrying out more than 200 manufacturing AI projects to date. In fact, some clients have achieved specific results such as a 50% increase in productivity, improved inspection accuracy, and global certification through the introduction of the solution.
This award is a comprehensive recognition of the company's technological prowess, business performance, and growth potential through the attraction of a cumulative investment of 27 billion won based on such achievements.
Park Jeong-yoon, CEO of InterX, said, “This selection as one of the AI 50 is a recognition of our technology development direction that has focused on solving manufacturing site problems,” and added, “We will continue to focus on advancing AI technology for sustainable manufacturing innovation.”
