MindLogic to Supply Generative AI Platform to Sogang University

Artificial intelligence startup MindLogic announced on the 29th that it has launched its generative AI platform 'FactChat' and has begun full-scale operation by supplying it to Sogang University.

'FactChat' is a conversational AI platform designed for efficient use by members of an organization, and is based on the latest large-scale language model (LLM). MindLogic explained that the platform is suitable for introduction at the institutional level as it can be provided at a low cost compared to existing high-cost AI services.

Sogang University introduced a pilot service of FactChat centered around the Software Convergence College at the beginning of this semester, and decided to expand operation to all students based on usability and satisfaction three weeks after the service launch. The introduction of the platform enabled AI classes and various areas within the school, and it is evaluated that it achieved a significant budget reduction effect compared to high-cost alternatives.

FactChat supports various latest LLMs, including OpenAI’s GPT-4.1 and mini versions, Google’s Gemini, and Antropic’s Claude. Users can select and utilize language models according to their purposes, and the application of MindLogic’s self-developed Augmented Search Generation (RAG) technology enhances contextual understanding and response accuracy.

Team leader Lee Shin-hwan of Sogang University said, “With the introduction of FactChat, we can now provide high-performance AI services without cost burden, and the satisfaction of all members is high.” He added, “As the base for AI utilization expands, we expect a positive effect on strengthening the digital capabilities of faculty, staff, and students.”

MindLogic Co-CEO Jinwook Kim said, “As AI technology is becoming an essential tool for university education, FactChat will be a solution that allows the entire organization to efficiently utilize AI,” adding, “We will continue to advance the technology and expand the service so that FactChat can be introduced in more educational institutions.”
