
The Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (hereafter referred to as the Gyeonggi Innovation Center) announced that it held the inauguration ceremony for the 'KB Unicorn Club 5th', an early startup incubation program jointly operated with KB Kookmin Bank, at the Pangyo Startup Zone on May 28.
This event was planned to share the program operation direction with the 10 startups finally selected through document and presentation evaluation, and to establish a foundation for networking and mutual cooperation among participating companies.
In addition to the 5th batch of selected companies, the inauguration ceremony was attended by officials from the Gyeonggi Innovation Center, KB Kookmin Bank, and related organizations, and exchange programs were held, including sharing business status between startups and presentations of cases from graduate companies. In particular, 'Korea Housing Information', a 2nd batch of KB Unicorn Club graduates, shared their participation experience and achievements, thereby motivating junior companies to participate.
The following 10 companies were finally selected for this 5th program: ▲Ubi Labs ▲Pixel ▲Cancer Breaker ▲Daily Pay ▲Sirinus ▲Clinkers ▲Taxtinum ▲HexAI Labs ▲Forest Jalan ▲SemiAI. At the launching ceremony, these companies introduced their business items and announced the expected results and plans from the program.
An official from the Gyeonggi Innovation Center said, “With this inauguration ceremony as a starting point, the selected companies have entered the full-fledged growth phase,” and “We will continue to support the actual scale-up of early-stage startups through cooperation between the private and public sectors.”
