AI-based 3D interior solution company Archisketch announced that it has signed a 3D interior software supply contract with Lotte Hi-Mart. Through this contract, Archisketch solutions will be introduced to approximately 300 Lotte Hi-Mart stores nationwide and used for customer-tailored space suggestions and integrated furniture and home appliance consulting.
Archisketch is working with Lotte Hi-Mart, which has overwhelming differentiation capabilities in the home appliance sector, including the largest domestic offline store network for home appliances, home appliance expert consulting staff, and specialized personnel for installation and repair (AS). The key is a service that simulates the combination of home appliances and furniture optimized for lifestyles for Lotte Hi-Mart customers as if they were in an actual space.
As demand for space utilization centered on single-person households and small furniture increases, customers are increasingly considering furniture and home appliances together to decorate their homes. In response to this trend, Archisketch plans to provide Lotte Hi-Mart customers with an immersive simulation environment where they can place home appliances and furniture together in their actual living spaces, and provide practical assistance in the customer’s purchasing decision process.
In fact, Archisketch's solutions are being actively adopted and utilized not only by existing furniture brands but also by home appliance brands. This is because home appliances that take up a lot of space, such as TVs, refrigerators, and washing machines, are now recognized as interior elements rather than simply functional consumer goods.
Reflecting these consumer trends, Archisketch plans to support Lotte Hi-Mart’s synergy strategy that takes into account home appliances, furniture, and interior design. In this process, Archisketch’s solution will play a key role as a technology partner in Lotte Hi-Mart’s store innovation through ▲real-time space design ▲automatic home appliance and furniture placement ▲estimate simulation functions.
A Lotte Hi-Mart official said, “It is becoming increasingly important for customers to experience and select spaces that fit their lifestyles, rather than simply purchasing products,” and added, “Through collaboration with Archisketch, Lotte Hi-Mart expects to be able to provide a more intuitive purchasing experience through interior consulting and space simulation that simultaneously considers home appliances and furniture.”
“Retail channels are evolving beyond simple sales spaces to places where we design and imagine customers’ spaces together,” said Lee Ju-seong, CEO of Archisketch. “Our collaboration with Lotte Hi-Mart will be a turning point in creating new experiences in offline distribution.”
