White Cube announced on the 28th that it was finally selected for the '2025 Baby Unicorn Breeding Project' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.

The '2025 Baby Unicorn Development Project' is part of the 'Global Unicorn Project' that discovers and develops innovative startups with high potential to grow into globally competitive unicorn companies such as Coupang, Toss (Viva Republica), and Yanolja.

In this business selection, White Cube was highly evaluated for having built the core commerce-specific marketing data prediction system and image automatic analysis function of the Challenger Service with its own technology, and for achieving monthly sales of 100 million won in just three months since its launch in Japan based on domestic growth.

White Cube's Challengers service is a service that allows you to purchase beauty products at up to 90% off. When it was launched in 2018, it grew into a service that formed habits in everyday life, but in early 2023, it pivoted (transformed its business) into the current beauty platform. In particular, it targets women in their 20s and 40s who actively invest in self-care, and last year, it achieved annual sales of 14.7 billion won and operating profit of 1.5 billion won.
