Daejeon Innovation Center Selects 15 Companies to Participate in '2025 Social Impact Changers 6th Generation'

Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Daehee Park, hereinafter referred to as Daejeon Innovation Center) announced that it has selected 15 companies to participate in the '2025 Social Impact Changers 6th Batch' and began full-scale support starting with the kickoff and impact build-up training on the 27th.

As part of the 'Social Venture Startup Ecosystem Activation Project' hosted by Daejeon Metropolitan City, 'Social Impact Changers' is a program that discovers technology-based startups with the potential to solve social problems and supports them to create real social value through sustainable business models. It has discovered and fostered around 100 technology-based social ventures and contributed to creating social value in local communities.

The 6th Social Impact Changers plan to focus on fostering social ventures centered on climate tech in line with the trend of carbon neutrality and climate crisis response.

Selected companies will be provided with customized programs to establish their social mission and strengthen their identity as a social venture through capacity building sessions and close consulting with dedicated partners. In addition, up to 30 million won in business funds will be provided to increase the company's growth potential.

In particular, excellent companies will be given direct investment review opportunities, and follow-up investment linkages will be pursued through performance sharing sessions and investor meetings. Expectations are high for the 6th term, with companies taking on the challenge of solving social problems through technology in various fields such as ▲smart city ▲eco-friendly energy ▲climate tech ▲bio health, etc.

Park Dae-hee, CEO of Daejeon Innovation Center, said, “The 6th Social Impact Changers will serve as a solid foundation for the growth of startups based on accumulated operational experience,” and “We will actively support startups with technological capabilities so that they can focus more on solving social problems.”
