
Festival On has been selected as a finalist in the '2025 WIPO Global Awards' hosted by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
A total of 780 companies from 95 countries around the world participated in this awards, and only 30 companies were selected as finalists. Festival On was the first company from Gangwon Province to be listed in the ICT startup category in recognition of its business model based on intellectual property (IP) and technological innovation.
The WIPO Global Awards is an international award that highlights the growth and social contribution of companies utilizing intellectual property, and boasts high authority in the intellectual property field. As of 2024, there have been a total of four cases of Korean companies that have been finalists, and only one has actually won an award.
The final winner will be announced at the WIPO General Assembly at WIPO headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland on July 11, 2025.
FestivalOn has focused on developing AI technology based on spatial information collection and analysis, starting with event safety technology, and has introduced products such as 'WiNity' and 'WiFlet' to the market centered around its smart home solution brand 'SA Solution'. In 2025, it plans to launch the 'WiFIA' module with Wi-Fi sensing technology applied to fully enter the premium smart home market.
CEO Kim Jae-han said, “This selection is the result of international recognition of our intellectual property-based technology and business potential,” and added, “We will continue to grow into an ICT company with global competitiveness.”
