
SAS Korea (CEO Lee Jung-hyuk), a leading data and AI (artificial intelligence) company, announced that it will hold 'SAS Innovate on Tour Seoul 2025' at the Fairmont Ambassador Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul on June 10.
'SAS Innovate on Tour' is an event that directly delivers the key contents of 'SAS Innovate 2025', SAS' annual business conference held in Orlando, Florida, USA in May, to major cities around the world, and is held in 15 cities including Seoul. This Seoul event will be attended by various industry professionals, from executives to IT managers, data experts, engineers, analysts, and SAS partners, and various side events such as booth exhibitions, hands-on sessions, and education lounges will be held along with the conference.
Lee Jung-hyeok, CEO of SAS Korea, said, “This event is a meaningful opportunity to vividly convey SAS’s progress and innovation as we prepare for the future of AI to domestic customers,” adding, “It will be an opportunity to confirm SAS as a trustworthy partner on our customers’ successful AI journey by sharing AI implementation strategies that improve corporate productivity and industry-specific use cases that generate real profits from AI investments.”
Under the theme of ‘Towards a World of Productivity Created by AI,’ this event will feature Deepak Ramanathan, Vice President of SAS Global Technology Practice, introducing SAS’ cutting-edge technologies and vision, including agentic AI, digital twins, and quantum AI. Yigit Karabag, Regional Director of SAS Customer Advisory EME-AP, will also explain the future AI portfolio, including ‘SAS Data Maker,’ ‘SAS Viya Copilot,’ and ‘SAS Viya Workbench’ for synthetic data generation, as well as reliable AI implementation strategies, including intelligent decision making.
One of the event’s keynotes will be a recorded conversation between SAS Co-Founder and CEO Jim Goodnight and Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, who will provide insights into the transformative impact of AI on business, technology, and society.
Also introduced are 'Realizing Innovative Potential with AI Blueprint', which presents methods for establishing and executing a successful AI strategy, and SAS' partnership expansion strategy to provide customers with broader choices and flexibility.
The afternoon track session will discuss in-depth AI application strategies and technology utilization methods in industrial settings under three topics: ▲SAS’s future AI roadmap and solutions ▲Improving productivity through risk and fraud prevention ▲Cases of productivity improvement by industry. In particular, this event will also launch new products for preventing internal and external financial crimes and fraud for financial and public institutions, and SAS’ unique approach to risk and profit management will be introduced in detail.
Separate from the conference, there will also be a 'SAS School Hands-on Session' where participants can get hands-on experience with SAS' AI platform and tools, and a 'SAS Education Lounge' where participants can experience 'SAS® Viya®' firsthand along with consultations on various educational courses including SAS' certification program.
Meanwhile, SAS Korea held the SAS Korea Hackathon for a month in May to encourage participation in SAS Hackathon, an annual data competition hosted by SAS around the world, and to discover unique ideas from excellent domestic analysts. An awards ceremony for the event will also be held as the final event.
'SAS Innovate on Tour Seoul 2025' is currently accepting free pre-registration through the SAS website, and on-site attendance is only available to those who have confirmed registration due to limited seating.
