– Appeared on NHK’s ‘Close Up Hyundai’ and introduced crime tracking technology based on self-developed dark web language model
– Demonstration of data leak monitoring and threat actor tracking functions using cyber security big data platform.. Full-scale entry into Japan

S2W (CEO Sang-Deok Seo), a big data analysis artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 27th that it recently appeared on NHK's flagship current affairs program, 'Close Up Hyundai', and introduced its cybercrime tracking AI technology.
The broadcast that day focused on Japan's vulnerable security environment, where cyber threats are rampant due to a series of securities account theft incidents and phishing email attacks, and the need to prepare countermeasures for them. In addition, Korea was mentioned as an exemplary overseas case where "the government is taking the lead in addressing security issues, multi-factor authentication (MFA) is widespread in society, and citizens have high security awareness," and S2W, the developer of the world's first dark web-specific language model "DarkBERT," was introduced as "a company that has developed its own AI technology to combat the recently rapidly increasing AI-abusing criminal groups."
Next, S2W Senior Researcher Shim Seon-hyeong appeared and demonstrated how he could clearly see the current status of leaked account information of Japanese securities investors being traded on the dark web by using the country/industry/company search filtering of 'JARVIS', a cybersecurity big data platform for public and government agencies based on Darkbert. He also analyzed the specific behavioral patterns and characteristics of threat actors attacking the Japanese financial sector by utilizing 'DarkSpider', a user profiling tool built into Jarvis.
This is the second time that S2W has appeared on a Japanese broadcast, following its introduction on NHK BS's documentary program "BS Special" in September of last year. At the time, the program featured the topic of "Cybercrime status and advanced investigation techniques in IT powerhouse Korea," and drew a lot of attention by showcasing Darkbert and Jarvis's use cases based on it.
In addition, since January of this year, the company has been regularly publishing a monthly ransomware report through 'Nikkei X TECH', a technology media outlet under the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, signed a threat intelligence platform service contract with a Japanese government agency in March, and signed a strategic partnership with Japanese digital marketing company 'Material Digital' in April. As such, the company has been expanding its contact points with local companies, organizations, and media by continuing its recent aggressive moves in the Japanese market.
Seo Sang-deok, CEO of S2W, said, “I think it is meaningful that we have been introduced as a major Korean cybersecurity company on NHK, Japan’s most prestigious broadcasting station, again this year, following last year,” adding, “I hope that this broadcast will serve as a momentum to further solidify our position in Japan, the largest information technology (IT) market in Asia.”
