Kyungkonjin signs business agreements with gaming organizations and organizing committees in Taiwan, Japan, and Singapore

On May 22, the Gyeonggi Content Agency (hereinafter referred to as Gyeongconjin) held the '2025 Global Alliance Asia 2025' meeting during the '2025 Play Expo' event held at KINTEX in Goyang and signed business agreements (MOUs) with Asian game industry-related organizations.

This agreement was created for the purpose of joint development of the Asian game industry and revitalizing exchanges between content companies. The organizations participating in the agreement are a total of four organizations: Taipei Computer Association (TCA), G-EIGHT, Tokyo Indie Game Summit (TIGS), and Singapore Games Association (SGGA).

Through the inter-agency agreement, each country plans to pursue cooperation in various areas, such as ▲promoting joint projects in the game and content industry ▲expanding cooperation between exhibitions ▲activating corporate exchanges ▲establishing an industrial ecosystem. Taipei Computer Association and Singapore Game Industry Association will focus on establishing a foundation for business cooperation between companies from both countries, while G8 and the Tokyo Indie Game Summit Organizing Committee plan to explore ways to connect global game exhibitions.

The signing ceremony was held in the VIP room of Hall 5 of KINTEX Exhibition Center 2, and game industry officials from various Asian countries attended to discuss industrial cooperation and global network expansion. Key attendees included Jesse Wu, Secretary General of Taipei Computer Association, Thomas Chang, Co-CEO of G8, Yudai Nozaki, Director of Tokyo Indie Game Summit, and Zitian Zhang, Executive Director of Singapore Game Industry Association. Also in attendance were Taiyo Tanabe, Director General of Tokyo Game Show, and Nick Yu, Vice President of ChinaJoy.

Tak Yong-seok, the president of Gyeonggi Content Industry, said, “This agreement is an important foundation for the global advancement of Gyeonggi-do’s content industry,” and added, “We will establish a foundation for the sustainable growth of local companies by expanding international cooperation in various content fields, including games.”
