Infrab, which operates 'Inflearn', was finally selected as a 'baby unicorn' company in the '2025 Global Unicorn Project' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
The 'Global Unicorn Project' is a project to discover startups with innovative technologies and growth potential and foster them into potential unicorns with a corporate value of 100 billion won or more. Companies selected as baby unicorns will receive market development funds (up to 300 million won) and special guarantees from the Technology Guarantee Fund (up to 5 billion won), and starting this year, a 'performance-linked guarantee system' will be introduced so that if selected companies achieve certain results in 'follow-up investment, sales', etc., additional guarantees will be provided without separate review. The plan is to provide the funds necessary for scale-up.
Infrap is a company that operates the practice-oriented online education platform 'Inflearn' and provides high-quality lectures in various fields such as IT, design, marketing, and business.
Recently, Infrap has developed an integrated subtitle generation, translation, and dubbing system based on AI technology, thereby establishing a technological foundation for automatically converting its educational content into multiple languages and quickly supplying it to the global market. This technology is an AI system that automatically subtitles, translates, and dubs existing educational content, allowing anyone to learn in various languages, and through this, existing lectures can be localized into various languages such as English, Japanese, and Vietnamese.
Meanwhile, Infrap plans to further accelerate the globalization of AI-based educational content using this selection of Baby Unicorn as an opportunity.
