Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Daehee Park, hereinafter referred to as Daejeon Innovation Center) announced on the 27th that it has finally selected three private operators for the Daejeon Startup Park.
The selected private operators are ▲Lets (CEO Kim Seong-eun), ▲JB Ventures (CEO Yoo Sang-hoon), and ▲Philosophy Ventures (CEO Yeo Su-ah), and they plan to operate various programs to promote the discovery, investment, and growth of startups in the Daejeon area, centered around the Daejeon Startup Park.
The operator aims to create tangible results by providing investment consulting, direct investment, and operating specialized programs for startups in the Daejeon area, and plans to promote the activation of a private-sector-led startup ecosystem, particularly based at the Daejeon Startup Park headquarters, which will open in March 2025.
In addition, we plan and operate customized acceleration programs according to the startup's growth stage (preliminary to early stage), and support the continuous growth and scale-up of startups through a cooperative system with ACs, VCs, universities, and related organizations.
Park Dae-hee, CEO of Daejeon Innovation Center, said, “With the selection of this private operator, the foundation has been established for Daejeon Startup Park to become a true startup hub,” and added, “We will actively support the creation of a sustainable startup ecosystem.”
