Deep Visions, Inc. , an artificial intelligence (AI) solution company based on image information, announced on the 26th that it was finally selected for the growth startup track of the '2025 Eco Startup Support Project' hosted by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute.
This selection was made based on the project 'Building a Real-Time Fine Dust Map Service Using Image Information and Deep Learning' that Deep Visions is currently promoting. The purpose of this project is to develop a system that visualizes fine dust in the air in real time by combining image analysis technology and deep learning algorithms.
Deep Visions has been developing a solution that can complement the limitations of existing sensor-centered fine dust measurement methods and provide more precise city-level air quality information by utilizing its patented technology. Through this support project, it is expected that the technology will be advanced and commercialization possibilities will be expanded. The project support scale is approximately 350 million won, and Deep Visions plans to use this budget to pursue follow-up developments such as improving data accuracy and improving real-time map platforms.
Kang Bong-soo, CEO of Deep Visions, said, “This solution is a technology that can increase effectiveness in terms of urban environment management, and it can be applied not only domestically but also in global urban environments.”
The 'Eco-Startup Support Project' is a government support program operated by the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute under the Ministry of Environment to discover and foster eco-friendly technology-based startups. The program selects support targets through strict screening every year, focusing on start-up companies with technological prowess and potential for market expansion.
