Data Brain and Sungkyunkwan University Software Convergence College Sign Industry-Academic Cooperation Agreement

Data Brain, which is developing the AI-based marketing automation solution 'MA-HA', announced on the 23rd that it signed an industry-academic cooperation agreement with the Software Convergence College (Dean Koo Ja-chun) of Sungkyunkwan University for cooperation in fostering software talent and technology development.

This agreement mainly includes the training of excellent software professionals, technological cooperation development, and enhancement of software competitiveness using infrastructure, and the two organizations plan to establish a continuous cooperation system in the fields of AI and software development based on their capabilities and resources.

The signing ceremony was held on May 9, and Databrain's CEO Moon Sang-yoon and CTO Lee Seung-jun were in attendance, while Sungkyunkwan University's Software Convergence College's Professor Baek Seung-hoon and three undergraduate students attended.

Sungkyunkwan University's College of Software Convergence has been selected as a 'SW-centered university' by the Ministry of Science and ICT since 2015 and is leading the domestic software education, recording 3rd place in Korea (1st place among private universities) in the 2025 THE World University Rankings.

Data Brain has been contributing to improving advertising performance, focusing on startups and small business owners, by pilot-launching the marketing automation AI solution 'MA-HA' in September 2023. The solution automates the advertising setup and execution process based on artificial intelligence to support efficient marketing operations.

Through this collaboration, the two organizations plan to accelerate the technological advancement of 'MAHA MA-HA'. In particular, they plan to focus their joint capabilities on developing core functions such as the refinement of marketing AI algorithms and the one-click advertisement registration function.
