E-commerce specialist ConnectWave announced on the 26th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with online shopping mall education specialist StoreLab for ‘e-commerce seller education cooperation.’ Through this agreement, the two companies will jointly promote education and solution support activities to help online sellers enter the market and enhance their competitiveness.
The business agreement ceremony was held on the 23rd at Connectwave’s headquarters in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, and Connectwave’s Makeshop Business Division Director Lee Hyeon-seok and Storelab CEO Lee Dong-hwa attended and discussed cooperation plans and operational directions.
Through this agreement, both parties plan to plan and operate joint education programs aimed at the continuous growth of sellers and provide practical content necessary for building and operating online malls. ConnectWave will provide technical support based on its e-commerce platform ‘MakeShop’ and integrated shopping mall management solution ‘PlayAuto’, while StoreLab will introduce field-oriented online mall operation strategies through external education and consulting.
In addition, customized training utilizing Store Lab's content will be provided to sellers using MakeShop and Playauto, and practical assistance will be provided on know-how and marketing strategies necessary for e-commerce operations.
StoreLab CEO Lee Dong-hwa said, “Based on our experience in practically solving various problems faced by sellers in the rapidly changing online market, we will support the stable growth of sellers through this collaboration.”
Lee Hyun-seok, head of the Connectwave MakeShop business division, said, “This MOU is expected to have a positive effect not only in expanding the potential customers of MakeShop and Playauto, but also in enhancing the competitiveness of existing users.” He added, “We will continue to support the business success of online sellers through cooperation with various partners.”
