Integrated store management platform Payhere (CEO Park Jun-ki) announced on the 23rd that it will provide 'short-term payment system rental' in line with the trend of opening pop-up stores (temporary stores) for various brands such as beauty, fashion, character, and K-POP.

Brands can rent a combination of POS tablets, card terminals, waiting tables, and kiosks according to the size and operation of the event. It reduces time and cost burden by solving all the devices needed for offline payment and customer service at once.

Payhere Terminal 'Payhere Terminal' is optimized for event venues with a lot of visitors. It is wireless and can be carried around freely, and outdoor payments are also smooth when connected to Wi-Fi or a hotspot. It is also equipped with a barcode scanner and printer, so everything from scanning to payment and printing can be done at once. It is also popular as a means of branding naturally by engraving the brand logo on the receipt.

For large booths, you can use multiple POS machines and terminals at the same time to quickly serve customers without long waits. During busy times when there are many visitors, you can switch the terminals to kiosk mode where customers can pay and earn points directly, or you can increase turnover by using an online store where customers can order and pick up items before visiting the event.

It also provides specialized functions to meet the increasing demand from overseas tourists. The ‘Foreigner Waiting’ service, developed for the first time in Korea, informs customers without a Korean phone number of their entry order via email. Another representative service is the ‘Tax Refund’ service, which provides an immediate VAT refund when you scan your passport with a terminal. In addition, it supports various overseas payment methods such as WeChat Pay and Alipay, creating a synergy effect in securing sales.

Park Jun-ki, CEO of Payhere, said, “We are supporting businesses that need to accept offline payments in a short period of time to easily and quickly resolve the entire process from card membership to event operation,” adding, “Our goal is to help brands attract new customers and increase sales by building a payment environment optimized for the characteristics of pop-up stores.”

Meanwhile, the service can be used to prepare for various events such as flea markets, fairs, festivals, and food trucks in addition to pop-up stores. It is currently being actively introduced in pop-up stores of famous idol groups, cafe shows, 2025 Illustration Korea, stationery fairs, and beach festivals.
