IBK Changgong, 8 startups participate in '2025 Japan Acceleration Program'

IBK Industrial Bank of Korea (CEO Kim Seong-tae) announced on the 23rd that its startup incubation platform IBK Changgong successfully completed the '2025 IBK Changgong Japan Accelerating Program' at the Big Sight International Exhibition Center in Tokyo, Japan for three days from the 7th to the 9th.

A total of 8 innovative and venture startups (▲NineAM ▲NineWatt ▲Davida ▲BrainVentures ▲FXIP ▲EMCITY ▲Tilda ▲Featuring) that were selected through fierce competition at 5 centers in IBK Changgong Mapo, Guro, Busan, Daejeon, and Gwangju participated in this Japanese accelerating program hosted by IBK Changgong Guro (Operator: CNT Tech).

This program, in collaboration with Japan's leading business networking platform 'SANSAN (Eight)', participated in the 'Start up JAPAN EXPO', a Japanese startup exhibition with the participation of approximately 400 companies, promoted its booth, and also held a 1:1 matching meetup (FUNDeal) and local IR pitching (Dream Pitch) with local Japanese investors (CVC·VC) and partner companies.

The participating startups had initial meetings with local buyers through the exhibition, and followed up with follow-up discussions with major VCs and related companies. Locals showed great interest in each company’s technological prowess and growth potential, and some companies even advanced to discussing actual MOUs with Japanese partners.

An IBK Changgong official said, “This program was not limited to short-term exhibition participation, but was the starting point for strategic linkages for actual global advancement,” adding, “In the future, we plan to continuously pursue customized acceleration such as understanding Japanese business and culture, market development, and investment linkages.”
