Nota submits preliminary review for KOSDAQ listing

Nota , an on-device AI specialized company, announced on the 23rd that it had submitted a preliminary examination for listing on KOSDAQ to the Korea Exchange. Nota is the first company to pursue a technology-specific listing based on AI optimization technology, and the lead manager for the listing is Mirae Asset Securities.

According to the company, a total of 21,161,880 shares will be listed through this listing, of which 2,916,000 shares are scheduled for public offering. Nota received an 'A' grade in technology evaluation from both NICE Information Service and Korea Technology Credit Rating in December last year, officially acknowledging its technology and business potential. This is noteworthy as it is the first case for an AI optimization technology company.

Nota's core technologies are its AI model optimization platform 'NetsPresso®' and on-device generation AI solution. NetsPresso supports efficient operation of high-performance AI models even on resource-constrained edge devices, and automates complex model optimization and deployment processes, contributing to reducing development and operational costs for customers.

Currently, Nota is continuing its technological collaboration through strategic partnerships with global semiconductor companies such as NVIDIA, Qualcomm, Samsung Electronics, Arm, and Sony, and has secured many Fortune Global 500 companies as its clients. In April, it was named one of the 'Global Innovative AI Startups 100' by global market research firm CB Insights, gaining external recognition for its technological competitiveness.

Nota is an example of applying AI technology to industrial sites, and is also showing practical commercialization results in the fields of industrial safety, transportation, retail, and public control through the video control solution 'Nota Vision Agent (NVA)'. In particular, it recently confirmed the possibility of overseas expansion by signing a contract to supply on-device AI solutions with the Dubai Transport Authority in the UAE.

The company plans to use the funds raised through the listing to focus on recruiting talent, improving products, and expanding its global business. Nota established a corporation in Berlin, Germany in 2020 and in Sunnyvale, USA in 2022, and is expanding its business areas to the Middle East, Japan, and Southeast Asia.

Chae Myeong-su, CEO of Nota, said, “This application for preliminary review for listing on KOSDAQ will be an opportunity to truly strengthen Nota’s global leadership in the field of AI optimization technology,” and “Based on the funds secured through the IPO, we will further accelerate technological advancement and global expansion.”
