Credos Partners Signs Business Agreement with Lambda256

Fintech company Credos Partners announced on the 23rd that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with blockchain technology specialist Lambda256 . This agreement focuses on technical cooperation for the development of digital financial services such as token securities (ST, Security Token) platforms and trust management.

The two companies have previously applied the distributed ledger technology of Lambda256's blockchain platform 'Luniverse' to the 'Trust Operation Online Management' service, which was selected as an innovative financial service (sandbox) by the Financial Services Commission. Through this, there is a precedent of strengthening the efficiency of business processing and internal control systems between financial institutions.

This collaboration focuses on token securities. Token securities are blockchain-based digital assets, and are a financial technology that allows for the distribution of large-scale and long-term investment products such as traditional bonds or private equity funds in small units. This is gaining attention in the global financial market as it can increase investment accessibility and simultaneously realize the liquidity and value enhancement of assets.

Credos Partners and Lambda256 plan to jointly build a token securities infrastructure centered on key elements such as the reliability of transaction records using distributed ledgers, transparency of information sharing between institutions, and transaction efficiency through tokenized assets. In addition, they plan to expand digital transformation by incorporating blockchain technology across external business-linked financial services such as asset-backed securities (ABS) and supply chain finance (SCF).

In addition, as part of ESG management practices, we are jointly promoting support for the financially underprivileged and entering overseas markets such as Southeast Asia. Credos Partners is currently preparing to issue token securities in Japan and enter the Southeast Asian asset securitization market, and is testing the commercialization of related platforms within the year in cooperation with a number of domestic financial institutions.

Lee Ha-yan, CEO of Credos Partners, said, “The token securities platform has the characteristics of a complex private exchange that processes atypical private equity products, so it requires a high level of integrated management functions.” He added, “In addition to blockchain-based ledger management, Lambda256’s solution has the ability to connect with existing financial systems, so it can respond to various customer demands.” He added, “We will expand the market by attracting overseas investors and expanding cross-border transactions, not limited to the domestic market.”

Lambda256 CEO Jeong Sang-hoon also said, “Credos Partners is a fintech company with a global network and financial expertise, and has the capacity to build an innovative financial platform utilizing blockchain technology.” He added, “Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to seek joint business opportunities in various fields such as digital authentication and private equity product management in addition to token securities.”
