Busan Metropolitan City (Mayor Park Hyung-joon) and Busan Center for Creative Economy and Innovation (CEO Kim Yong-woo) announced that they are recruiting citizen participants for the 'Solution Living Lab' that supports the advancement of smart city startups based on cooperation between citizens and startups until June 5.
'Solution Living Lab' is a program of the '2025 Smart City Living Lab Operation Activation Project' that aims to establish a living lab culture and foster startups in the Busan area. Its purpose is to match innovative startups preparing to enter the market with citizens to verify, improve, and advance their items.
The 'Solution Living Lab' citizen participation group recruitment will be accepted until June 5th, and any Busan citizen interested in experiencing and receiving feedback on items from Busan's innovative startups can apply. This year, Busan's innovative startups ▲(주)로엔코리아 ▲(주)PRIMUS ▲(주)디니소솔루션 ▲(주)비비피오 will participate to directly hear honest and diverse opinions from potential customers about the functionality of the items.
The citizen participation group that will verify the items of the four participating startups will be selected from approximately 24 Busan citizens, and based on the application forms, the eligibility and matching suitability will be considered and matched to approximately 6 people per company.
A matching day will be held on June 17 for the selected citizen participants, where the program operation direction, items of the matched companies, and verification methods will be explained. Afterwards, the items of the matched companies will be experienced and ideas for improving functionality will be derived. If necessary, regular meetups between citizens and companies will be held to share difficulties in the verification process and discuss items.
Based on approximately one month of verification experience, verification activity expenses and certificates will be paid to citizen participation groups that have completed activities and submitted verification reports. Outstanding citizen participation groups will also be selected and awarded prize money.
Applications for participation and further details can be found on the Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center website and the Busan Startup Portal.
