Lavawave Signs Business Agreement with World Dagachi

Digital crime response solution company Lavawave announced on the 22nd that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with Worlddagachi , a lifestyle information platform company targeting foreigners, to strengthen the prevention of digital crimes and response to damages targeting foreigners.

The signing ceremony took place at Lavawave’s headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and was attended by representatives and officials from both companies. Through this collaboration, the two companies will work to strengthen the protection and damage response system for domestic and foreign nationals from digital crimes such as body cam phishing and deepfakes.

The main contents of this business agreement are ▲joint development of digital crime victim protection services ▲production and distribution of multilingual digital crime prevention content, etc. In particular, the scope of cooperation will be expanded to focus on services targeting foreigners who are vulnerable to digital crime due to language barriers and limited information accessibility.

Lavawave develops and operates AI-based digital sex crime response technology, and in particular, provides real-time harmful content detection and blocking functions through the integrated solution for preventing the distribution of body cam phishing videos and the illegal filming detection solution 'LAVAR SCANNER'. In addition, it was listed on the Financial Supervisory Service's Electronic Disclosure System (DART) in March of this year, securing corporate transparency and credibility.

World Dagachi provides various living information, including legal, medical, administrative, and cultural, to foreigners residing in Korea through the AI-based multilingual integrated platform 'DAGACHI', and currently supports 10 languages.

Through this collaboration, the two companies plan to jointly develop a multilingual application and online platform that will allow foreigners to utilize Lavawave’s digital crime response service in real time. In addition, they plan to introduce Lavawave’s response service within the Dagachi platform and increase accessibility, while also introducing a real-time consultation function through API linkage in the future.

A Lavawave official said, “We have established a foundation that can practically provide digital crime response technology to foreign users,” and “We will contribute to building a digital safety net that not only prevents damage to foreigners, but also has global expansion in mind.”

World Dagachi CEO Kwon Hae-seok said, “We expect that through the cooperation between the two companies, we will be able to establish a more systematic response system for digital sex crimes against foreigners,” and added, “Our goal is to develop it into a K-digital crime response model that can be utilized overseas as well.”
