BQAI announced on the 22nd that it will officially participate in the Ultra-Large AI Promotion Council under the Korea Software Industry Association (KOSA) and begin in earnest to create a domestic artificial intelligence industry ecosystem.
Through its participation in this council, BQAI plans to cooperate in discussing the development direction and policies for large-scale AI technologies such as the Large Language Model (LLM), and to contribute to strengthening the domestic AI industry base based on its data construction capabilities and technological know-how.
The Super-Large AI Promotion Council is a public-private-academic joint organization in which the government, industry, and academia participate, and it operates with the goal of expanding the industrial application of AI technology and creating an ecosystem. Major corporations such as LG, KT, and SK Telecom are also participating in the council, so private-led collaborative synergy is expected.
The Korea Software Industry Association and the Council are working with the National Assembly to establish a policy foundation for realizing an AI superpower. Recently, they held a National Assembly meeting on the topic of ‘Current status and tasks for realizing an AI superpower’ and discussed ways to expand infrastructure and improve regulations.
As major candidates announce large-scale investment pledges in the AI industry ahead of the recent early presidential election, the importance of public-private cooperation for AI technology innovation and ecosystem creation is also being highlighted.
BQAI is providing high-quality data to major domestic companies through its AI learning data supply platform 'RDPLINE', and is also developing solutions that can respond to social issues such as fake news and AI hallucination by utilizing RAG (Augmented Search Discovery) technology.
A company official said, “BQAI holds responsible AI implementation and data-based technological innovation as its core values, and will continue to propose various ways to contribute to AI policy and institutionalization in the future.”
