AI and data specialist company Uclick announced that it has hired former Korea Red Hat President Ham Jae-kyung and former TmaxSoft Vice President of Corporate Business Lee Hyeon-wook as Vice President and Managing Director, respectively, to strengthen its competitiveness in strategic technology sectors such as security and cloud.
The newly appointed Vice President, Jae-Kyung Ham, served as President at Red Hat Korea and Trend Micro Korea, and is an expert in the security and open source fields who has held various executive positions at global IT companies such as Oracle Korea. He will oversee the security infrastructure solution division at Uclick, and will discover new growth engines centered on the security and open source areas, and contribute to the overall business expansion of Uclick. In addition, he plans to continue to support major business sectors that have been successfully promoted in the past and strengthen synergy within the organization.
The newly appointed Managing Director, Hyunwook Lee, is an expert in the cloud and engineering fields who served as Vice President of Corporate Business at TmaxSoft, CEO of TmaxCloud, and Head of Oracle Consulting Headquarters in Korea. He will lead both Uclick’s Oracle Engineering organization and Oracle Cloud Enterprise Sales organization in the future. In particular, Managing Director Lee will advance the existing engineering organization based on Oracle on-premise to focus on cloud, open source, and AI, and in the cloud sales organization, he will strengthen AI-based cloud services through collaboration with Oracle, while actively promoting market expansion by highlighting the differentiated value of Oracle Cloud in competition with existing major cloud service providers.
Through this recruitment, Uclick plans to further strengthen its system as a technology-centered organization and accelerate innovation in strategic business areas such as AI, cloud, and open source. The strategy is to continue to secure external talent with deep insight into technology and industry in the future to drive customer-centered digital innovation and solidify the foundation for sustainable growth.
