Daejeon Innovation Center Holds Meeting for Follow-up Support for Investment Companies

Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Park Dae-hee, hereinafter referred to as Daejeon Innovation Center) announced that it held a 'Meeting for Follow-up Support for Investment Companies' as part of the '2025 Startup Investment Attraction Support Project' at the Daejeon Startup Park headquarters on the 21st.

This meeting was organized to share the results of the investment with promising startups in which the Daejeon Innovation Center has directly invested, listen to the difficulties faced by the companies, and discuss practical follow-up support measures.

A total of 15 people, including investment company representatives and staff members and center officials, attended the meeting, which consisted of ▲sharing investment performance and growth status by company ▲presentation of the center’s investment operation status ▲discussion on attracting follow-up investment and additional support directions ▲listening to difficulties faced by participating companies and answering questions ▲free networking time, etc. to strengthen cooperation and exchange among related parties.

On this day, the companies shared their post-investment performance and plans for the second half of 2025, and requested the Daejeon Innovation Center to expand programs such as commercialization support and open innovation, and to connect with related organizations and follow-up investors. Based on this, the Daejeon Innovation Center plans to expand customized follow-up connections with invested companies and strengthen the post-management system through regular meetings and networking.

Daejeon Innovation Center has invested a total of KRW 1.1 billion in six early-stage startups in the Daejeon area from 2022 to the present. The invested companies are ▲ Dolbom Dream Co., Ltd. (smart vest-based integrated control system), ▲ New World Co., Ltd. (floor construction solution), ▲ Linsol Co., Ltd. (ultrasonic sound source detection technology), ▲ Pilsang Co., Ltd. (AI-based financial fraud prevention platform), ▲ Liternol Co., Ltd. (returned product inspection service), and ▲ Adwave Co., Ltd. (mobile communication module for satellite communication). They are technology-based startups headquartered in the Daejeon area and founded less than 7 years ago.

Park Dae-hee, CEO of Daejeon Innovation Center, said, “This meeting was a meaningful time to go beyond a simple performance review and listen directly to the voices of investment companies and think together about practical follow-up support directions.” He added, “We will continue to discover hidden startups in the region and provide support and investment to serve as growth partners, thereby revitalizing the local startup ecosystem.”
