Indeed Lab Signs Business Agreement with KAIST Department of Management Engineering

Indeed Labs Inc. announced on the 25th that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with the KAIST Department of Management Engineering for AI-based apartment value assessment and energy efficiency analysis. This agreement is part of an industry-academia collaboration to analyze the correlation between apartment energy consumption and real estate value based on quantitative residential environment data.

The signing ceremony was held on June 24, 2025 at Indeed Lab's headquarters in Yeouido, Seoul, and joint research is expected to begin in earnest in conjunction with a related research project involving Professor Shin Dong-hyeok and Professor Han Jin-soo of the KAIST Department of Management Engineering.

'THE stack' operated by Indeed Lab is a real estate technology (PropTech) service that visualizes various environmental performance data such as apartment unit view, sunlight, noise, air quality, and openness, and calculates the residential value and appropriate price for each household based on this. The main purpose of this agreement is to increase the possibility of industrial use and verification by applying this data to energy consumption analysis and asset value assessment through collaboration with KAIST.

Jeong Yo-han, CEO of Indeed Lab, said, “Our collaboration with KAIST is an important opportunity to quantitatively analyze the relationship between the environmental performance of apartment complexes and real estate value.” He added, “The Stack will evolve into a platform that quantifies the quality of housing and predicts future value through data-based, precise value assessments.”
