JEP Selected as 'Edutech Softlab Demonstration Company'

ZEP (CEO Wonbae Kim, Sangyeop Kim), a metaverse-based edutech platform, announced on the 22nd that it was selected as an 'Edtech Soft Lab Demonstration Company' by the Korea Education and Research Information Service.

Edutech Softlab is a project that supports the development and innovation of public education by connecting educational sites and edutech companies. The companies for verification are selected based on evaluation criteria such as public education effectiveness, usability, and verification suitability.

Zep was selected as an EdTech Soft Lab demonstration company in the Gyeonggi region operated by Kyunghee University and the Chungbuk region operated by Korea National University of Education. Through this demonstration project, Zep will review and test the product based on close collaboration with teachers. It will scientifically reveal the effectiveness and problems of the service and find areas for improvement of 'Zep Quiz' as an EdTech service in public education and use it as a basis for evaluation.

In particular, we plan to prove its usability in public education settings by going through a verification process on the LMS (Learning Management System) function and learning effectiveness of 'Jep Quiz', a metaverse-based quiz platform.

Recently, Jepp participated in the Edutech Softlab Matching Day event for Edutech demonstration teachers and partner companies, and introduced educational use cases of 'Jep Quiz'. The teachers who attended the event positively evaluated 'Jep Quiz' for its intuitive usability and diversity of educational content.

Meanwhile, Zepp is providing an edutech service called 'Zep Quiz' that provides various types of educational templates such as multiple choice, short answer, and true or false. It is highly accessible as a digital teaching aid as learners can easily create a quiz room in map format and is highly utilized in actual educational settings.
