Plainbit X Naru Security to Host 'Defender Summit 2025'

Plainbit, a digital forensics and breach response specialist, announced on the 16th that it will hold the 'Defender Summit 2025' conference jointly with Naru Security, a targeted attack response specialist.

'Defender Summit 2025' is a professional conference on incident response from the defender's perspective held in Korea, and it will be held at the Orche Hall in the L Tower in Yangjae-dong from 10:00 AM on Tuesday the 27th. The event consists of an 'Issue Talk' session that addresses issues currently being faced at the scene of an incident under the theme of 'Solve the Problems at the Scene of the Accident!' and a 'Best Practice' session that addresses best practices in incident response.

The issue talk sessions will consist of ▲ Plainbeat's 'Longer Dwell Time: The consequences of breaches left between detection and response' ▲ Raon Security's 'Attack surface as seen by a simulated hacker' ▲ AhnLab's 'Intruders who don't need weapons: Living off the Land' technique ▲ Igloo Corporation's 'The Shadow of Centralized Authority: Security Management of Central Management Solutions' ▲ Naru Security's 'Secretly and Greatly Internal Network Change Management', with cases from the accident scene and measures to respond to them.

The best practice session will share ▲ NSHC's 'NSHC TR Lab's Generative AI Voyage Log: AI World Drift' and ▲ the National Police Agency's 'North Korean Hacking Organization's Vulnerability (Watering Hole) Attack Case and Response Measures'.

Kim Jin-guk, CEO of Plainbit, said, “The information security industry has expanded to reduce the risk of security accidents, but the focus is mostly on prevention, and there is a lack of discussion on responding to problems at the scene of an accident.” He added, “We planned this conference to examine cases from the defender’s perspective and think about response measures for problems at the scene of an accident that we are currently facing.”
