Domestic leading proptech company Zigbang (CEO Sungwoo Ahn) announced on the 21st that it has released a new product, AI lobby phone 'Alpha (ZH-L70)'.
The Zigbang Smart Home Lobby Phone Alpha is the second ‘passwordless’ concept device that Zigbang is introducing, following the AI door lock ‘Haven’ that was first introduced in January. It allows opening and closing of the common entrance door using facial recognition alone, without entering a password or tagging a card, and the circular design centered on the display enhances aesthetics.

The AI lobby phone Alpha boldly removes the number keypad for passwords and strengthens security by introducing AI biometric authentication and a dedicated smartphone app linkage function. In particular, the AI facial recognition and voice recognition functions have secured stability with industry-leading technology, and there is no risk of personal information leaks as public key-based asymmetric encryption (PKI) technology is applied.
In addition to facial recognition, residents can also enter using the mobile key tag of the 'Jikbang Smart Home App'. The app also provides visitor management functions such as remote door opening and video calls. When visitors say their building and unit number on the lobby phone, AI recognizes their voice and connects them to the resident smartphone app. You can also specify the visitor's entry period or time and issue a QR pass or temporary password.
