JLT, IR Pitching at 'Korean Promising Startup-Japanese Investor Meetup Day'

JLT, a company specializing in intelligent factory solutions, successfully completed IR pitching at the 'Korean Promising Startups – Japanese Investment Meetup Day' held in Nagoya, Japan on the 21st. The event was hosted by KOTRA Nagoya Trade Center and was held as an official meetup event for collaboration and investment connections with major Japanese investment companies.

At the presentation held at 10:00 AM on that day, JLT introduced its technology and global expansion potential, focusing on its AI-based laser vision sensor technology and its welding automation solution that applied it. The presentation was held with the participation of major multinational companies in and around Nagoya, an important base for Japanese manufacturing, and consisted of a detailed Q&A session after the presentation, which attracted the attention of Japanese investors in attendance.

This meetup day was attended by five carefully selected global fragrance startups including JLT, CVC companies of world-leading multinational companies, and leading Japanese global investment firms, and had a lively exchange. The networking session held after the event featured active individual meetings and discussions on additional collaboration.

JLT CEO Jeong Hyeon-woo said, “Through this pitching, we were able to understand the needs of the Japanese market and the direction of interest of investors more specifically,” and added, “We will strengthen our strategic partnership in Japan and accelerate our advance into the Asian market in the future.”

In particular, JLT possesses high-level welding automation technology applicable to the shipbuilding, automobile, and defense industries, and the technology features improved efficiency and productivity compared to imported equipment, while securing price competitiveness and AI-based defect analysis functions. Based on this, the possibility of collaboration with Japanese manufacturers is also highly anticipated.

Meanwhile, this IR meetup was planned as part of a public-private cooperation program hosted by KOTRA Nagoya Trade Center, with the aim of providing practical support for Korean startups’ advancement into Japan and attraction of local investment.
