NexOneSoft Provides Nexsign for 'Telecommunication My Data'

Data platform service company NexoneSoft (CEO Choi Deok-hoon) announced on the 21st that it provided the integrated authentication service 'NexBe Sign' to the Korea Telecom Operators Association's (KTOA) leading MyData service 'Telecommunications MyData'.

Nexvisign is a cloud (SaaS) integrated authentication service that applies the service API of the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) simple authentication interface guidelines. In this project, Nexone Soft provided KTOA with the simple authentication service required for the identity transfer request procedure by linking with the certification agency. In addition, it took the lead in developing technology for electronic signatures and security linkage for identity verification of information subjects, as well as verifying and implementing services. Identity transfer request refers to the right of an individual to request that his or her information be transferred to another organization or service according to the Personal Information Protection Act.

This project is the first case of introducing an integrated authentication service based on KISA’s simple authentication standards to the MyData pilot service, and NexoneSoft has once again proven its outstanding technological prowess through this. In addition, this case is a case of leading application of standard technology, and this standard-based authentication structure is significant in that it provides a basic model that MyData operators in other fields such as healthcare and energy can refer to and link. NexoneSoft’s integrated authentication service applied in this case is designed according to authorized security standards to strengthen the reliability and security of the authentication service, and provides compatibility and systematic security between various authentication systems. Currently, the electronic signature of the communication MyData service can use PASS, Naver, and Banksalad certificates, and more authentication operators will be added in the future.

The communication MyData service operated by KTOA is a communication rate information service that analyzes personal communication usage information using the MyData system and helps anyone easily choose a reasonable rate plan. It is currently provided based on information from the three mobile carriers. The communication MyData app can be downloaded for free from the Android Play Store and Apple App Store.

MyData is a system that allows individuals to directly manage their own data and receive customized benefits by providing data to desired services. The Personal Information Protection Commission plans to gradually expand the scope of the system starting with the telecommunications and medical fields.

NexoneSoft is the first company to provide integrated MyData authentication in the communications sector, and plans to expand integrated authentication services to all MyData fields, including healthcare and energy, and increase reliability and convenience across the industry through a stable authentication system based on standard technology. To this end, the company will continue to pursue technological advancement and focus on improving user-centered service quality.

Choi Deok-hoon, CEO of NexoneSoft, said, “With this application case, we have verified that identity verification has already become an essential procedure in MyData services, and NexoneSoft plans to expand collaboration with MyData services in various fields based on its standards-based technologies.” He added, “We are currently discussing collaboration with medical service providers and will continue to grow in the field of electronic signature authentication and verification.”
