Sage 'Safety', Korea Internet & Security Agency Certification Acquired

SAIGE (Co-CEOs Jong-Woo Park and Young-Seok Hong), an industry-specialized AI machine vision company, announced that its AI-based safety monitoring solution SAIGE SAFETY has additionally obtained certification in the ‘fire prevention’ category among the intelligent CCTV performance test certifications of the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

KISA's Intelligent CCTV Performance Test Certification is an authoritative certification system that evaluates the detection accuracy of specific events occurring in the video. It evaluates the detection performance of behaviors such as wandering, intrusion, abandonment, falling, fighting, and arson, and is a demanding certification that requires a performance of 90% or more for each item.

Sage Safety has already received KISA performance certification in the areas of ‘loitering’, ‘intrusion’, and ‘falling’ detection, and with this certification in the ‘fire prevention’ area, it has established itself as a solution with certified AI detection performance in a total of four areas.

Sage Safety is an AI-based intelligent CCTV solution that analyzes and warns of risk factors in various industrial sites such as construction sites and manufacturing sites in real time. It can detect various risk factors in industrial sites such as fire and smoke as well as worker safety conditions such as not wearing safety helmets, entering dangerous areas, and approaching heavy equipment. In particular, it can be introduced without additional facility investment based on compatibility with existing CCTVs, and it provides a function that can integrate and control multiple CCTVs to support efficient safety management. In the event of a dangerous situation, it immediately sends a notification to the manager to enable a quick response.

This KISA fire detection certification objectively proves that Sage Safety’s AI-based analysis algorithm can effectively detect behaviors similar to actual fire signs. It is expected to greatly contribute to establishing a preemptive risk response system in industrial facilities, logistics warehouses, and large commercial facilities with a high risk of fire.
