Origin Tech Holds 'Email Security Solution Showcase'

Kiwon Tech held an 'Email Security Solutions Showcase' and introduced its security technologies and solutions to respond to email-based cyber threats.

This event was organized to respond to the recent increase in email phishing attacks and AI-based hacking threats, and was successfully concluded with great interest from industry insiders and the media. Going beyond simple product introductions, Kiwon Tech focused on introducing ways to raise employees’ security awareness by focusing on ‘people,’ the core of corporate security.

The event shared the latest threat trends, including phishing attack trends by North Korean hacking groups and cases of fake emails being created using AI. In particular, the situation of phishing emails impersonating domestic companies being created within seconds was introduced, heightening the alertness of attendees.

The 'malicious email simulation training service' that Kiwon Tech introduced on this day attracted attention for its method of increasing the effectiveness of corporate security training through customized scenarios for each industry, simple system construction, and statistical-based evaluation system. Through analysis of actual cases, figures showing that the phishing email access rate and personal information input rate significantly decreased before and after training were also disclosed.

In addition, Giwon Tech announced that it provides integrated functions such as reception security (Spam Guard, Receive Guard), transmission security (Send Guard), and user convenience (Easy Linker) through its integrated email security solution 'EG-Platform'. In particular, 'Send Guard' is the first in the email security industry to be equipped with GPU to detect and block altered images or hidden attachments based on AI, and has unique technology that can selectively detect only drawing images.

Kim Dong-cheol, CEO of Kiwon Tech, said, “This showcase was an opportunity to raise awareness of email security and share practical response measures.” He added, “We will do our best to continue to lead the global security market by remembering that it is important to strengthen the security awareness of employees as well as technical responses.”
