WooriNet , a company specializing in wired and wireless communication equipment, announced on the 20th that it will embark on joint development of AI-communication convergence defense solutions with Omelette, a company specializing in AI optimization technology.
The two companies signed a strategic partnership to jointly develop, verify, and commercialize AI-based technologies for optimizing advanced communication systems and operational management in the defense sector. In the future, the two companies aim to merge core technologies and jointly develop, verify, and commercialize intelligent communication/operation systems specialized for the defense sector.
According to the agreement, WooriNet and Omelette will ▲jointly develop communication systems optimized for various communication environments in defense and AI-based application technologies ▲jointly propose defense-related projects and tasks ▲cooperate in entering domestic and international defense markets, and promote joint marketing, etc.
Specifically, WooriNet plans to supply highly reliable communication infrastructure equipment and systems such as POTN/PTN, quantum cryptography communication, and 5G to defense and public institutions, and lead the promotion of government projects. Omelette will be in charge of AI-based optimization algorithms and agent development, system linkage, and distribution management.
