Zenaxis (CEO Son Mi-kyung) announced on the 25th that it is promoting the '2025 US Bio Investment Attraction Capacity Building Program' with the Gyeonggi Province Economic and Science Promotion Agency and is recruiting participating bio startups located in Gyeonggi Province until July 4th.
This program provides education, consulting, and demo day participation opportunities to strengthen IR capabilities and lay the groundwork for local advancement for bio companies hoping to enter the US market. In particular, five excellent companies will be able to participate in the 'RESI BOSTON 2025' global bio investment conference, which is attended by global investors and pharmaceutical business development (BD) personnel. These companies will also receive support such as operating a dedicated booth, participating in IR pitching sessions, and expert mentoring and pre-training from the host, Life Science Nation (LSN).
The recruitment target is bio-related startups and small and medium-sized enterprises with at least one of their headquarters, research institutes, and manufacturing facilities located in Gyeonggi-do, and a total of 10 companies will be selected. The selected companies will be provided with various support such as IR data improvement and pitching consulting, education on US bio industry and investment strategies, customized consulting on law, marketing, and partnering, domestic mock demo days and US local IR pitching, and online investment briefings.
The top five companies selected as excellent companies will participate in a local IR pitching event held in Boston, USA in September, and will also be able to participate in 1:1 meetings with investors, networking, and global partnering events. However, some of the local living expenses will be borne by the companies.
“This program will be an important opportunity to provide real investment opportunities to bio companies preparing to enter the U.S. market,” said Son Mi-kyung, CEO of ZenAxis. “We plan to provide close support to the selected companies so that they can become globally competitive.”
