Moyo, a platform for comparing mobile phone plans, announced on the 25th that it has simultaneously obtained the international information security certification ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and the personal information protection certification ISO/IEC 27701:2019. This is an additional certification obtained following the Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification obtained last April.
ISO/IEC 27001 is an international standard that evaluates the adequacy of management systems and operating procedures for protecting information assets, and ISO/IEC 27701 is a certification that verifies whether a protection system has been established for the entire process, including collection, processing, storage, and destruction of personal information.
This certification is the result of Moyo's official recognition that its information protection and personal information protection systems across the ▲mobile phone plan recommendation and subscription service ▲internet plan comparison service ▲USIM purchase and delivery service meet international standards. In particular, the scope of ISO/IEC 27701 certification clearly includes Moyo's PII (personally identifiable information) operation system as a personal information processor.
Moyo has recently expanded its business beyond comparing mobile phone plans to encompass all aspects of telecommunications consumption, and has proactively pursued security enhancements at various user touchpoints.
Moyo’s Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Wi Seong-wook said, “Obtaining this international certification means that Moyo operates services based on user trust throughout the entire telecommunications consumption process,” and “We will continue to strengthen our security and personal information protection capabilities to create a platform environment where customers can use it with confidence.”
