– “We will create a service that is more truly helpful to seniors’ daily lives based on Dokbiman’s 5060 data”

'Dokbi', a personal assistant service for those in their 50s and 60s who dream of a smart lifestyle, released the total activity data of senior members' actual purchases, reservations, and advance sales in 2024 on the 19th.
'Dokbi' provided by Rabbit and Toad Co., Ltd. (CEO Dong-soo Ham) is an online secretary service that helps seniors in their 50s and 60s with searches, purchases, reservations, bookings, recommendations, etc. like their own children. When you ask for what you need through chat as if you were talking to your children through AI-based responses, the smart secretary Dokbi uses individual data to respond, and when the member makes a decision, it handles the entire process up to payment.
By utilizing AI technology and having counselors with actual secretarial backgrounds personally respond to members, we meet the needs of senior members who prefer human conversations and increase satisfaction with service use.
The data released this time is the result of analyzing 21,212 requests received since the introduction of the Dokbe membership system, and is the result of providing practical secretarial services to senior members who visit and make purchases in person.
In particular, travel-related services are most often linked to members' final use as a result of members having already decided on the destination and requesting detailed travel itineraries, hotel reservations, train tickets, etc.
As a result of tallying the top 10 regions with the most travel schedule planning and reservation/reservation requests, Korean cities accounted for 54%, followed by Japan at 30% and Vietnam at 16%. Among domestic and international travel destinations, Busan, Osaka, Jeju, Seoul, and Fukuoka were the most popular in that order, while within Korea, Busan, Jeju, Seoul, Dokdo, and Gyeongju were the most popular in that order.
In addition, the most requested categories by Dokbi members are ‘Restaurants & Cafes (21%)’ and ‘Travel (15%)’, and other categories include ▲Food (5%) ▲Airlines & Railroads (4%) ▲Culture & Leisure (4%) ▲Accommodations (4%) ▲Banks & Finance (3%), etc.
Ham Dong-soo, CEO of Dokbi, said, “Contrary to expectations, Busan was more popular than Jeju Island as a domestic travel destination, and nearby Japan and Vietnam were popular as overseas travel destinations. The need for travel products is growing,” and added, “Based on the data on the 5060 senior generation that only Dokbi has, we will listen to the voices of our members and strive to create more specific and helpful services for their daily lives.”
Meanwhile, Dokbi is introducing travel package products through collaboration with My Real Trip, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, and MetLife Insurance. The service can be used by paying monthly or annual fees, and currently has 3,000 paid members and a cumulative number of approximately 20,000. It recently attracted pre-A investment (Bon Angels, Smilegate, and Dasung Ventures).
