Softfreak , an API security specialist, announced on the 19th that it was finally selected for the 'DIPS Commercialization' program of the '2025 Ultra-Gap Startup 1000+' project hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
'Super Gap Startup 1000+' is a national strategic project that discovers promising technology startups that will lead future industries and supports their growth into globally competitive companies. Among these, 'DIPS Commercialization' is a program that supports startups with innovative technologies by providing them with commercialization funds, global expansion, and linkages with large corporations.
Softfreak was selected as a support target in the 'Cybersecurity/Network' field in recognition of the innovation, scalability, and marketability of its 'AI-based API governance security platform' technology. Accordingly, it will receive various follow-up support such as government support of up to 600 million won over the next three years, global investment linkage, collaboration with large corporations, and opportunities for overseas expansion.
Since its establishment in 2023, Softfreak has developed Korea's first API governance platform and has supplied account management/access control solutions and automated vulnerability diagnosis solutions to major companies. It is currently in the process of attracting Series A investment of 7 billion won, and plans to use the secured funds to advance technology and expand the market in the future.
